Get to know Dr. B

Hi, I am "Dr. B" (Boyd Newsome, DMD), and I would like to thank you for your interest in our dental practice. Riverpoint Family, Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry is here to take care of you and your family and provide the best, most comfortable dental treatment possible.

I love being a dentist because I love taking care of my patients, whether it is relieving a toothache in minutes or enhancing a smile over a lifetime. I take great satisfaction in using my knowledge and skill to help someone get the care they need, or to help them create the smile they have always dreamed of having.

I have been a dentist for several years and have continued my education well beyond what the New Mexico Board of Dentistry requires each year. As a result, I have advanced training in surgical extractions, placing dental implants, root canals, and simple to complex cosmetic dentistry. I also provide light to moderate sedation to help patients feel comfortable during treatment.

On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful lady and have four children who are my "everything in life." Some of my hobbies include camping, hiking, fishing, playing sports, and working in the yard. I look forward to meeting you or seeing you again soon.
